About

Radka is a Czech-born, UK-based contemporary painter whose practice centres on themes of liminality, transformation and threshold states.

Her work explores psychological and spatial in-between places, moments of transition, tension and becoming. Through layered abstraction, materiality and carefully considered colour, she creates paintings that hold depth, stillness and a sense of internal movement.

Radka holds an MA in Fine Art from the University of Lancashire, completed in 2026 with Merit. Her recent body of work, Between What Was and What Forms, developed through this research-led practice and explores ambiguity, transformation and the spaces between rupture and renewal.

Alongside her studio practice, Radka facilitates creative workshops and one-to-one sessions, creating supportive spaces where others can reconnect with their own creative process.

Based in Lancashire, she continues to develop and exhibit her work, with a practice rooted in painting as both a material and transformative experience.
